Adventure #5: Participating in Amazing Race Fullmer Edition

This adventure is thanks, and might I say a huge THANKS, to Margie Fullmer who planned the most amazing birthday party ever. She placed us in a team of six and then sent us out to race, crash weddings, get lost in the lanes, scare kids at Chucky Cheese, steel keys, play football with ice cream in Reams, and ultimately take our lives into our own hands. Okay, so maybe that isn't exactly what she planned, but it sure was a kick in the pants as it turned into such a riot.

After all was said and done the dirty players got what was coming...

A few of my favorite moments:

• Jill flipping everyone's child locks on (Oh, she is a sly one!)
• The Jensen, Eliason, Bird team placing plastic bags over Howard's license plate while they were dead last and it wouldn't impact anyone.
• Dawn crashing a wedding at the museum.
• Clint  ridding on top of our car watching out for Dean in the "lanes."
• Me jumping in the fountain at the mall for an egg.
• The Eames, Anderson, Larsen team 20 miles away from the actual location, running the high school track "lanes" yelling for Dean to come out, he obviously was hiding if they couldn't see him.
• Jeff driving away with Clint  hanging on the side of his car after they stole his keys.
• Pregnant KJ getting her groove on to Thriller.
• Rich throwing an ice cream football pass down the isles of the grocery store.
• Jason throwing money at the clerk and running through the check out lane with his ice cream in hand.
•  Dan inviting Margie to visit his bathroom that was down the "lane" to her left.

Yes, there is an inside joke with all the "lane" talk, not to mention Dan's best friend Bushannon.

It was so much fun that everyone talked over each other for over an hour after recounting their funny moments and near death experiences while eating cake.

The only sad thing was that Margie and Howard didn't get to participate; so, it was decided that the winning team :) would plan a sequel and the Fullmers could captain their own team. So... watch for another adventure when we get to host the next Amazing Race!
